Magna Carta (or "Great Charter") is one of the most celebrated documents in world history — a milestone in constitutional law. It's more than 800 years old. Yet it remains a constant source of confusion among young students, as this string of genuine student bloopers shows.

Magna Carta was a French peasant girl, the second wife of Henry the Eighth. His first wife died of a bad disease.

Magna Carta was good and kind and everybody liked her. She was strong.

Magna Carta said that the king was not to order taxis without the consent of Parliament. She also said that the King had no right to bring soldiers into a lady’s house and tell her to mind them.

Significantly, Magna Carta provided that no free man should be hanged twice for the same offence.

The barons made King John sing on the bottom of Magna Carta. Magna Carta literally means "the Queen has lost her garter". King John was made to sing on the bottom of Magna Carta.

As for who signed the Magna Carta, I didn't.
